Retelit, a leading B2B telecommunications company in Italy, has adopted a series of measures aimed at reorganizing work to promote a better work-life balance. The supplementary company agreement, signed with national trade unions, local and company-level representatives in the Telecommunications and Tertiary sectors, provides for the introduction of a shorter workweek with no reduction in salary<\/b>, personalized smart working management<\/b>, and additional protections for employees with children<\/b>.<\/p>\n
\nUnlike other companies that have chosen to experiment with these changes on a voluntary basis or with selected groups of employees, Retelit has made them effective from June 1st and for the entire full-time, non-shift workforce<\/b>. In recent days, the workweek has been reduced from 40 to 36 hours<\/b>. The weekly limit on smart working days has been replaced by a total number of hours<\/b> that each employee can use according to their needs, subject to agreement with their manager. All this without affecting the provision of meal vouchers, which employees will continue to receive.\n<\/p>\n
\nFurther flexibility is provided for new fathers, who will be able to work fully remotely for a period and benefit from four additional paid leave days<\/b>, in addition to those provided by law. Dedicated leave for nursery or kindergarten integration and personalized return-to-work plans<\/b> are also included to ensure a smooth and supported return to work.\n<\/p>\n
