This partnership marks a bold step toward the launch of QGEN01<\/b>, Quadrivium\u2019s flagship data centre in Genoa, slated to go live in Q4 2025. Designed to redefine regional connectivity, QGEN01 will be Genoa\u2019s first carrier-neutral interconnection facility. It will feature 12 MW of IT power<\/b>, cutting-edge subsea landing infrastructure\u2014including a borepipe, beach manhole, and dedicated fronthaul\u2014with the capacity to host 8 new submarine cable systems<\/b>.<\/p>\n
Retelit, leveraging its extensive network <\/b>and its Avalon Campus<\/b>, the largest Italian interconnection hub located in Via Caldera in Milan, will project Quadrivium\u2019s new data center to the heart of the Italian Internet via a two fully diverse and redundant high-capacity fiber optic routes that will connect Quadrivium\u2019s data center to Retelit Avalon Campus. This location is also one of Southern Europe\u2019s most important digital infrastructure hubs, hosting the majority of telecom operators, cloud providers, OTT platforms, and streaming services\u2014all easily accessible for interconnection. QGEN01 will also benefit from a direct connection to MIX, Italy\u2019s main Internet Exchange Point, which includes more than 400 connected networks, through Retelit\u2019s Avalon Campus.<\/p>\n
