Spanning over 43,000 kilometres, 16 metropolitan area networks (MANs) and 16,000 on-net sites in Italy, Retelit’s proprietary network extends along the main national, provincial and local roads, connecting major cities and covering all the main national catchment areas, both in terms of population and productivity.
The Retelit network also extends beyond Italy through a pan-European ring that includes PoPs in Frankfurt and London, and a presence in 19 countries, from Marseille to Hong Kong, thanks to the AAE-1 submarine cable connecting Europe to Asia through the Middle East. This extensive infrastructure allows Retelit to offer high-capacity direct connectivity services, broadband and ultra-broadband data transmission, private IP and Ethernet networks, and Internet connectivity.
Retelit also boasts the Avalon Campus, Italy’s largest interconnection hub for neutral colocation, located in Milan. This unique hub hosts over 165 national and international operators, allowing carriers, ISPs, resellers, OTTs, and large enterprises to host their equipment, including entire data centers, in customised spaces and cages.
