Network and SD-WAN for distributed assets
Dedicated fibre optic with 100% guaranteed bandwidth, symmetrical profiles up to 10 Gbps and 99.9% availability for main offices and plants, integrated with broadband accesses for local sites and with IP-VPN and MPLS private networks. Managed SD-WAN recognises applications and routes traffic over the best link based on latency, jitter and packet loss, separates OT flows from corporate IT and activates new sites with automatic provisioning, even on other operators’ lines. All on 47,000 km of proprietary network in Italy.
Radio links and FWA
Point-to-point radio links on licensed frequencies with capacity up to 10 Gbps, 100% guaranteed bandwidth and average latency below 4 ms, with over 500 access points and coverage of 98% of industrial areas. For wind and photovoltaic farms, substations and sites out of coverage, the wireless links managed by Retelit ensure telemetry and automatic failover integrated with the existing network. A diversified route compared to fibre, as the primary line in remote sites or as a backup independent of the infrastructure already laid.
Contact Center and citizen services
The Retelit Contact Center platform manages voice, email, chat and ticket flows between the utility and the citizen: intelligent queues, routing by territorial area, integration with CRM and billing systems, call recording for compliance purposes. A solution sized for the peaks typical of essential services, from network emergencies to meter readings, account transfers and activations, with measurable SLAs and voice quality ensured by the proprietary backbone and by platforms with over 500,000 active numbers.
Sovereign cloud and multicloud
VCloud private cloud platform on VMware technology, hosted in Retelit’s carrier-neutral data centres in Italy, with ACN-qualified platforms, managed backup and disaster recovery with measurable recovery times. The Direct Cloud service connects the utility’s network to the main public clouds with a dedicated low-latency access, an alternative to the best-effort Internet connection, with a dual port for high availability. Multicloud architectures thus stay on a single network, with predictable performance and data under Italian jurisdiction.
Data centre and colocation
A network of data centres distributed across the main Italian cities, ISO 27001 certified and with sites certified up to Tier IV level, to host the utility’s central systems close to the territory served: housing and colocation with dual power line, 24/7 monitoring from the Network Operations Center and on-site technical support. The Milan interconnection campus, with over 170 connected operators and cloud providers, simplifies traffic exchange, geographic redundancy and disaster recovery architectures.
Full MVNO · ATR model
As a Full MVNO, Retelit is the reliable partner for utilities and energy operators that want to complement their offer with a mobile service, in line with the strategy of expanding services to the community. The ATR model allows them to keep control of the brand and of the relationship with the end customer, without directly managing the underlying mobile infrastructure: the utility builds the value proposition, Retelit takes care of the infrastructure.
